Sesame Street celebrates its 40th anniversary and marks the debut of a new 3D animated

series “Abby's Flying Fairy School”.  Sopheric was commissioned to score 13 episodes of the new

show, which begins airing Nov 10th!  Happy Birthday Sesame St!

In addition to “Abby's Flying Fairy School”, we also had the pleasure of scoring 2 puppet

segments or "Street Stories", both of which air this week.  On Thursday's show, a segment called

"Bees", where Baby Bear learns why bees are so important. :)  Then, on Friday's episode, check

out the song "Nature" performed by Jimmy Fallon.  Fun stuff!

The Ted Haggard Monologues!

Sopheric was recruited to create an original score and theme for the upcoming Independent film.

Directed by Alexis Boling (Harmonium Films) and adapted from the award-winning play

by Michael Yates Crowley (http://www.nytheatre.com/nytheatre/tedh6269.htm),

The Ted Haggard Monologues is based on the true story of the Ted Haggard sex and drugs

scandal.

The Alphabet Killer!

This year, Eric completed the original music score for the feature film, The Alphabet Killer.

We are pleased to announce that The Alphabet Killer opens in NYC this Friday, Dec 12th

When police investigator Megan Paige (Eliza Dushku) becomes obsessed with the brutal murder

of a young girl named Carla Castillo in the town of Churchville, her failure to catch the killer

leads to a nervous breakdown.  Two years later she emerges as a shadow of her former self.

When the killer strikes Wendy Walsh from Webster, Megan is backon the case, determined to

bring the culprit to justice.
